It’s truly amazing and very interesting journeying for someone else because we have no way of knowing what we will see and where we will go. It’s also a huge privilege. That’s if we truly place ourselves in the other person’s space without interference to them and without losing ourselves. The journey can be unexpected, exciting, beautiful, ugly and at other times can seem very unremarkable. But, for the subject, it is often exciting, usually helpful and often life shifting. The art of removing oneself and remaining objective but also involved and caring – the art of holding a space for someone else with love – but with even more objectivity – is a very beautiful process and demands integrity, caution, abandonment – all those and probably many other things too.
And the creature energy that comes to assist us, proving the mergence of animals, the reptiles, the birds, the insects, the plant beings, the rocks and the elements with every one of us is also amazing and affirming. If you’ve never experienced a journey of this sort, perhaps you might consider it. Or if you are one of those people who don’t believe anything happens at all apart from delusion on both sides (with whom I seem to come into contact very often – my journey!), please take the time to consider that perhaps there are things that you don’t know – like all of us. Life is a dream and we spend our lives looking for ourselves within that dream.
