Can we all now put down the luggage we were given by our parents please? (NB: I am as guilty as everyone else) We have several choices available to us:
Carry it round on your back and suffer from the weight for the rest of your life. Relatives and friends secretly might: a) wonder why you do it, and b) if you could perhaps stop telling them about it?
Push it round in a trolly – easier but it will slow you down.
Lock it in a locker at a station and come back later. You may have to pay substantially for this in direct ratio to how long you leave facing dealing with it.
Use the locker but do a runner and leave it for ever. You won’t be able to forget it and the Guilt Police will always be after you but what the hell?
Recycle it. Make something useful from it (or make something useless like toilet roll holders in the shape of Mum and Dad).
Take it to a dump, throw it away and forget it.
Get someone to help you to get rid of it (an astrologer or a shamanic practitioner perhaps?).
